un:send Festival operates out of Naarm (Melbourne), on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People. We acknowledge their enduring custodianship, and recognise First Nations people as the first artists, scientists, and architects of this land.
We’re exploring new approaches to what a festival can be. un:send isn’t just a party, it’s a community of artists working together to imagine and build space for collective expression amongst our scene. An extension of what already exists - a celebration of all the talent found locally and abroad.
Our festival vision is built on philosophies of collaboration and care. It’s a jigsaw-puzzle-like collection of inspirations & ideas we’ve collected along the way, on our respective journeys and experiences in the music scene as ravers, music-lovers, crew & artists alike.
We are a fully independent, community built festival; soundtracked by a thoughtful curation of musicians; fed by a hard-working community of foodies; conceptualised & designed by a passionate & creative team of artists; built by a mighty group of builders; and given a beating heart by a diverse body of like-minded, conscious & fun loving dancers & attendees - you.
In its tangible form, the festival is an intimate, multi day & night, two stage music & arts festival nestled amongst gum trees, the sun and the stars, in rural Victoria. In its un:seen form, un:send festival is a space where delicate, otherworldly experiences will unfold. We invite you, at un:send, not just to look, but to sense, to feel, and to discover.
